Larry Anderson is very active in the Brandywine Valley area, capturing local scenes in watercolors.
His works have a way of catching a moment of time, which appeals to the memory and the sense of belonging
of the viewer. Larry also organizes many local art events such as the yearly shows at the Ronald McDonald House
and the Hockessin Fire Hall. He is well known as a promoter of the Arts in Delaware.
Diana has become known in our area for her florals and landscapes. She does a lot of work in botanicals,
and shows her paintings regularly in the Philadelphia Flower Show and exhibits organized by botanical groups.
Diana is active as a teacher with CCArts in Yorklyn and at Longwood Gardens and at Mt.Cuba.
Suzanne works primarily in watercolor, and is known for her brilliant colors. She is relatively
new to the art scene, and her work is energetic and fresh. Her depictions of floral arrangements have
gained her a local following, and her work continues to be popular at shows in the Delaware region.
Chester County artist Kathy Ruck’s paintings are full of the crispness of a clear sunlit day. Her love of
color and attention to detail brings a realism to her watercolors that captures the viewer and draws them
into the scene. Working out of her studio in Landenburg, PA, Kathy paints the beauty of the surrounding areas
of Chester County PA, Hockessin and Newark DE.
Working primarily in oils on canvas, Tim seeks to distill the essence of his subjects through the
painting medium. Tim likes to vary his subject matter, painting landscapes, seascapes, still lifes, and cityscapes.
Working with digital photos, Robert Kirk has an eye for the selection and composition of his subjects
at the beginning of the process, and an artistic ability that he applies as he enhances certain elements
in the photos before they go to print. Robert works both in the Upper Delaware / Chester County PA area,
and down in the Bethany Beach area.
Born and raised in Delaware, Shawn decided to make his home state the foundation for his career.
He has painted many local landmarks and has done work for many of the people and businesses in the state.
His subjects also include portraits and lately he has been doing paintings of famous horses, and is
becoming known nationally for this work.
